Mickey is a short black mouse. He has a black head and two round black ears, two white gloves on his hands, red pants with white dots on it, and two big yellow shoes on his feet. This is his main appearance which he usually wears all the time.
First appearance[]
The early Mickey Mouse cartoons were in black and white, and usually made by Walt Disney. In 1928 Mickey made his very first appearance in his first cartoon, "Steamboat Willie" directed by Walt Disney and Ub Iwerks. This is also the first black and white cartoon featuring Mickey Mouse, Pete, and Minnie Mouse.
